East London Theatre School exists to redefine access to high-quality performing arts training.

We are a professional training organisation and creative platform based in East London, dedicated to developing the next generation of performers, storytellers, and creative leaders. Our work focuses on young people aged 6–25, particularly those from communities that have historically been underrepresented in the arts.

We combine elite-level training in acting, dance, and vocal performance with real industry opportunities. Through our structured programmes — Foundation, Associate, and Studio Company — students progress from building confidence and creativity to developing professional-level skills and pathways into the industry.

But we are more than a training school.

We are a space where young people find their voice, build confidence, and see themselves reflected in the work they create.

Our programmes are rooted in the belief that talent exists everywhere — access does not. We are here to change that.

Through partnerships with theatres, schools, and industry professionals, we create opportunities that bridge the gap between grassroots participation and professional careers.
